Old Stream, How long does First Charge for New Battery Take?

Hi. It's simple as this:
I have an old model Victor Stream. I purchased the right battery from Humanware. How long do you charge the first time? My old battery held a charge like a straner holds water. It used to take 3 days. It's been 2 days, now, since I put the new battery in. And I want to use my stream to change my checks over to my new bank, and other things. I feel like I'm missing a limb, or something, without my stream, but I am getting some help, and have to be nice to my equipment. So, I need to do this right. I'm so obsessive, I won't even turn it on. (Laughing at myself)
Thanks and Blessings,
Sarah

All batteries should charge in 24 hours, not days.
If it takes days, something is wrong.
That is with any electronic.

Any new battery charge should not take more than 8 to 10 hours to charge it up. Or the most is an overnight charge, about 12 hours.

I'm thinking the old Stream boasted a charging time of 4 hours.

I'm surprise that you can actually change the Battery on the old stream, which I assume the first gen of the stream? I thought it is unremovable.

Na, the battery used to cost 30 bucks or so, and was fairly easy to replace.

It's now $50, and as it's the first time I ever did it, I made sure someone who could see watched me.
Thank you all. It's running like old times, and I missed the darned thing, so much!
I used the think the battery couldn't come out either, but, it's almost easy.
Blessings all,
Sarah

I would give it about 24 hours the first time, but I always just charged over night. If you leave it plugged in all the time, the charge wont last as long, but that's true with all electronics.
